Help... I Have Fallen and Can't See To Get Up
Yes that is exactly what I do every time I go into my garage trying to find something after dark. One lousy little overhead light that looks like a hallway light and you can't see a thing on the other side of the truck when it's parked in the garage. One switch by the entry door for one light... now the garage is about 12x25 and one light in the middle of the room is not near enough light. The solution to my problem I found at CarguyGarage. They have lighting specifically for the garage area, garage lighting, task lighting that allows you to perform even the smallest of details for woodworkers to mechanics.
I also do some painting and I end up with some left over paint from jobs that I will use to make a primer or certain colors for other jobs and the overhead fluorescence lighting at CarGuyGarage is just the type of lighting I need to to see the different shades of colors. The under the cabinet lights are so awesome for seeing how to restring the weedeater at night. Being able to have different types of lighting garage lighting for different areas works best. The skylights would be an awesome addition for daylight hours. If you need more lighting or better lighted areas in your gargage then definelty check out what CarGuy Garage has.
