Keeping Kids Safe

This News Room Story really has got me to thinking about how in this day and age that parents have to work to survive and how we leave our kids alone after school for an hour o so before returning home from work. Here in Florida there has been a couple of cases where the parents are being arrested because of leaving their children at home unattended and pranks such as this are pulled off. I do hope that this your many realizes just how lucky he was that others were around and saw what happened.

What is your opinion on kids being left at home alone? Should parents be held responsible for actions of a minor children in such cases as this??
