Can't Spank Your Child !!

I can't believe that the government wants to take that away from the parents. Does the government know your kid personally ??? Mine neither. So what gives them the right to say I can't spank my kid under the age of three. If I do are they going to have cameras in my house to watch . How will they see people spanking their OWN kids in their OWN home ??? Spies??? First is was no smoking in public places and ok I can deal with that, I am a smoker by the way , but this is just going over the top. As Americans we are going to have to stand up for what we feel is right. I have voiced my opinion on this I hope you will too. Do they really think that this will stop child abuse ?? How silly. This will only increase the crime :) rates as kids will have control over their own parents. No one will be happy, the kids need disciple and the parents should be the ones to make sure they have rules to follow. Oh yeah the parents can't do anything about the rules because the government has taken control out of the parents hands and given it to the kids . This is very scary !!! A child can divorce his own parents for pete's sake...I was talking to a friend in Australia a few days ago and she was telling me that over there thay aren't allowed to spank their kids at any age, She said the kids are out of control and the crime rate has been on an increase ever since. I don't want my kids to grow up with no discipline. I want my kids to respect their parents and their peers. They will not without discipline.I don't want to center this around religion either but have you read in the Bible "Spare the rod Spoil the Child" its so true. This is a well know fact kids need discipline. No one should take that way from the parents. I feel very strongly about this matter.
